Rules & Regulations

  • All golfers shall conduct themselves as Ladies and Gentlemen, having due regard for the rights of others.
  • Proper attire is required in all areas of the clubhouse. Clothing specifications include:
    • No workout or athletic suits.
    • Slacks and shorts, other than blue jeans and cutoffs.
    • Men are required to wear shirts with sleeves and collar.
  • No one shall bring, possess or consume any alcoholic beverage on the premises except which is governed by the Club Liquor License or is approved by the Board of Directors.
  • The Clubhouse is a smoke free facility. Smoking will only be permitted outside the facility.

Golf Rules

  • Cedarwood Country Club is a non-metal spike facility.
  • Golf Course areas should be kept in good condition. Place papers, broken tees, cigarette butts, and drink containers in trash receptacles.
  • All golfers are expected to repair divots, repair ball marks on greens, and rake sand bunkers.
  • Golfers are expected to observe the rules of proper etiquette and to play the course in a reasonable amount of time. If there is more than one hole open ahead of them, they are pressed by the group behind, they shall pick up and advance to the next tee.
  • Practice shall be limited to designated Putting, Chipping or Driving Range areas.
  • Staying at the turn longer than eight minutes may cause the group to lose their turn at number ten tee.
  • If inclement weather is in the area the golf shop staff shall cease play, and all players shall seek shelter immediately.
  • No more than two (2) golfers or bags are allowed on a golf cart.
  • No one under sixteen without a valid drivers license shall operate a golf cart.
  • All cart rule signs must be observed at all times.
  • Carts must remain on the cart path at all teeing grounds, and shall not be permitted within 30 yards of each putting green.
  • Carts must remain on the path on all par 3’s.
  • Any damage of golf carts is the responsibility of the person/event, and repair costs will be assessed to the person/event.
  • Operation of a golf cart is at the risk of the operator.
